CNS Mentorship On-Demand Program
Sprouting Nutritionists and Coaches (SNC) support and assist integrative and functional nutritionists wishing to become credentialed.

CNS candidates must obtain 1,000 hours of supervised practice in clinical nutrition care. At the beginning of these hours, we here at SNC will require that every 40 hours, a CNS candidate works towards meeting their competencies, and a minimum of 1 hour must be spent with their CNS supervisor. As you progress, this will lessen as you grow in experience and confidence. Please note that most may complete their CNS Supervised Practice Experience in 10 months, but there is no rule of thumb on how long it will take, as everyone is on different paths, so we can't advise on how long it will take each person.

The CNS Mentorship On-Demand Program allows you to pay for what you need when needed. You can stick with one mentor or schedule back and forth for an enhanced experience, and this is meant to make mentorship accessible regardless of your budget. However, you must monitor your requirements and needs to achieve your Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) by ensuring you meet the above BCNS requirements. Below is everything you can purchase as needed and when you need it.

**Starting in 2025- All new SNC - CNS Interns will be required to complete a self-paced 2-4 week onboarding process so that you understand the CNS required 1000 hours, what is required of you as a CNS intern (i.e., liability insurance), and more. Once an SNC CNS Supervisor reviews your completed requirements, you can begin clinical CNS hours.
