"Pay As You Go" Program
Sprouting Nutritionists and Coaches (SNC) provide support and assistance to integrative & functional nutritionists who wish to get credentialed in the field.

CNS candidates are required to obtain 1,000 hours of supervised practice in clinical nutrition care. BCNS requires that for every 40 hours a CNS candidate works towards meeting their competencies, a minimum of 1 hour must be spent with their CNS supervisor. Please note most may complete their CNS Supervised Practice Experience in 10 months but there is no rule of thumb on how long it will take as everyone is on different paths, so we can't advise on how long it will take each person.

The Pay As You Go Program allows you to pay for what you need when you need it. However, you will be required to monitor the requirements and needs you have to fulfill to achieve your Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) by making sure you meet the BCNS requirements stated above. Below is everything you can purchase as you need it and when you need it.

Information
One virtual 1:1 mentorship session with an assigned supervisor (60 minutes) for every 40 hours worked; hence, a session needs to be conducted.

Cost: $100 per supervised required session, as advised above.

Cost: $50 per quick check-in session that can occur in between required sessions.​

Monthly Virtual
Groups
We will offer two virtual Group Meetings per month. Group Meetings are 90-120 minutes long, scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm EST.

Clinical groups - where cases are presented, discussed, and questions are answered about your active client cases as a community.​

Educational groups - we will host a variety of educational topics to help you with your active clients and growth.
We will record all groups if you can't make it for later viewing.

Community Chat
Groups
When you begin your monthly membership, you will be invited to a Private Group Chatting Area via Facebook where you can ask questions and gain support from supervisors and all active members while working through the CNS Supervised Practice hours. CNS supervisors will monitor them daily to ensure your needs are met in between one-to-one sessions, so if you need a clinical question answered or approved for certain aspects, you can get it approved. We hope to foster a community to motivate one another through sharing, especially as we grow.

Cost: $40 per month for access
To work with us, you must meet the following:

Must hold a Master of Science or Doctoral degree in a field of nutrition or a related degree (including, but not limited to, Public Health, Health Science, Biochemistry, Nursing, Physician’s Assistant, and Dietetics) from a United States regionally accredited college or university, or its foreign equivalent; OR Doctoral degree in a field of clinical healthcare (including, but not limited to, DC, DDS, OD, Doctor of Nursing, ND, PharmD) from the United States regionally accredited college or university, or its foreign equivalent.

You may apply in your last semester, but your start will be after graduating!​

You are actively working towards your CNS Certification and building a client base.

Can work independently with supervision support.

Are well organized and maintain detailed logs of their direct and indirect experience hours to be reviewed by one of our CNS-approved supervisors

Candidates must be available for routine phone calls or virtual video sessions via Zoom.
